What Do You Need for a Mini-Reading?

To calculate your personal map, exactly three details are needed. Here's how to find them.

1. Birth Date

Easy. You know this one (and if not — it's on your ID).

2. Birth Time — the Detail That Really Matters

Your birth time determines significant parts of the map, so it's worth getting it as precise as possible. Where to look, in order:

• Birth certificate — in most cases the time is recorded there.
• The hospital's birth summary — if your parents kept it.
• Mom — usually remembers at least the part of day ("it was night," "right before lunch").

3. Birth Place

City and country. This is used to calculate the time zone — so if you were born abroad, be sure to mention it.

Couldn't Find the Time?

No problem — the map can still teach us a lot. Send what you have, note "time unknown" or an estimate ("in the morning"), and I'll treat the time-sensitive parts with the appropriate care.
